Yorklyn Delaware is an unincorporated community in northern New Castle County. It is just Northwest of Wilmington. It has its own post office and zip code.
Yorklyn is home to Delaware State Parks’ Auburn Heights Preserve. It includes the Friends of Auburn Heights Preserve and Marshall Steam Museum.
Marshall Steam Museum features the largest operating collection of Stanley Steamer cars in the world. Nearby is Ashland Nature Center.
Also, close by is the Yorklyn Recreation Center, commonly referred to as the Yorklyn pool. The Recreation center has two pools, tennis courts, and basketball courts.
Yorklyn Delaware is also home to the Center for the Creative Arts. It is just minutes from Hockessin Delaware.
