Delaware-->Newark-->City of Newark-->19711
Binns Newark Delaware is a small community just off of Elkton Road. Close to both West Park and the Christina Creek, the Binns community is close to schools (including Newark Charter where my brother teaches!), shopping and recreation. It is also within the Newark City limits and has access to all the benefits of being a Newark Delaware resident. Binns is a great neighborhood to grow up in, I had many friends who loved that neighborhood. Binns is in Newark District 3.
Major shopping centers such as the Christiana Mall, Peoples Plaza, Governors Square, Eden Square, and Fox Run are just minutes away The City of Newark and Main Street features gourmet restaurants, specialty shops, and of course the University of Delaware campus.
There are many recreational facilities such as Fort Delaware State Park, Winterthur Museum, Lums Pond State Park, the upper Chesapeake Bay area and Hagley Museum and Longwood Gardens are all a short drive away.
