
Attendance is expected to be around 30,000 people. During the event, Main Street is closed to traffic. There are vendors and displays all up and down Main Street in Newark.
Main Street usually closes down to traffic around 3, so the vendors can set up their booths. It is definitely a great way to spend a Saturday night. In addition to the booths that have displays or activities, there are also a lot of restaurants that have food available. There is also entertainment!
In addition, there will be games, activities, and moon bounces.
A New Night is a great time to walk around, meet with some of the great local businesses and talk to neighbors and friends.
A tradition in Newark since 1986, A New Night is a fun time I hope you won’t miss it! So whether you are in the mood for food, activities or entertainment Newark Nite is the place to be on Saturday June 10th.

Municipal parking lots will be accessible and parking will be free. In addition, some University of Delaware lots will also be open.
