Main Street Mile Newark Delaware is October 5th
About the Main Street Mile
The twelfth annual Main Street Mile will take place on October 5, 2019. It was begun to support the K-9 unit of the Newark Police Department and the Downtown Newark Partnership
The Course
The course begins at the Deer Park Tavern this year due to construction. Runners/Walkers will head down Main Street on the right side.
At .5 miles they will make a U-Turn around the cones and come back to the finish line in front of Deer Park Tavern.
Registration and Fees
Bib Pick Up and Day of Registration will be on Saturday October 5th from 8am till 8:45am in the Deer Park Parking Lot.
Race will start promptly at 9am so please give yourself enough time to park and get your bib.
The cost for those who register is $20 plus a $2.50 signup fee, or for those 13 and under $15 plus a $2.50 signup fee. Ready to signup, click here. Online Registration ends September 30th at 11:59 p.m. After then, the price goes up to $30.
After the Race
Stay for food, music, drinks, and awards after the race.
Prizes and Awards
Any MALE who breaks a 4:30 mile - $50 bonus cash. Any FEMALE who breaks a 5:00 mile - $50 bonus cash. And there will be awards for the top 3 in each age category. Hopefully, this years event will be as successful for this great cause!
