We invite the surrounding community to visit Reach Church for our FIRST Trunk or Treat!
What is Trunk or Treat? Trunk or Treat is a fun, safe, and convenient way for children and families to celebrate Halloween and trick or treat in one location! Vehicles are parked together, decorated in a Halloween theme, and are full of candy and goodies. Children can walk from trunk to trunk to look at the decorations and receive candy and other treats. This provides a controlled and safe family environment for trick-or-treaters of all ages.
All participation in Trunk or Treat is FREE! There will be refreshments, music, and fall family-friendly activities, and lots of candy!
We are thrilled to announce that are partnering with Exceptional Care for Children for this event and you will have the opportunity to donate your new or gently used children costumes to the children at Exceptional Care that night! Don’t miss your chance to bless these precious little ones!

Join us for our 73rd Annual Halloween Parade down Main Street on Sunday October 27th beginning at 3:00PM (no rain date). Immediately following the parade, Main Street will remain closed to traffic for children to Trick or Treat at local establishments until 5PM. If you'd like to participate in the parade, please fill out an application at Newarkde.gov/play, or pick one up in the lobby of the Municipal Building at 220 South Main Street. Participation is FREE, but you must come in costume!

We are hosting our annual Trunk Or Treat for families and the community at The Gem School! Please sign up in the front office if you would like to reserve a parking spot at the event. Each parking spot should decorate the trunk of their car and hand out a treat! If you do not want to decorate your trunk please just come and join the fun. Spaces in the event fill up quickly so let us know ASAP if you would like one!
